Electronic claims significantly reduce the amount of time a practice waits to be paid for their services. On average, electronic claims are paid in half the time of paper claims. NDC Health EDI Services

NDC Health EDI (formerly a division of Equifax) offers electronic claim submission services for Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross/Blue Shield and commercial carriers in most states. NDC's offices are located in Atlanta, Georgia, but all claim submission and support calls are made on toll-free phone lines. NDC submission software is included with all MediSoft products, PractiSoft and Just Claims. NDC claims are priced at $.39 each for MediSoft users.

NDC also offers other services like eligibility verification, managed care transactions, credit card processing and check guarantee through StatLink Select -- a special version of NDC software for MediSoft users.

Electronic transactions are provided for healthcare practices and billing services.
